Padma Shri Prof. Dr. M. Wali is the best Alumnus of Kanpur University and is a graduate from GSVM Medical College. Dr. Wali was awarded a fellowship from the American College of Cardiology and the University of Michigan during the years 2005 and 2007 respectively, for his distinguished services in preventive cardiology. He is an awarded Medical Icon and has twice been adjudged best medical specialist. He has contributed significantly to hypertension research, has delivered more than a hundred lectures on hypertension, and written six chapters in the textbooks of cardiology. Presently, Dr. Wali continues his busy schedule for patient care of the highest standard at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital as a senior consultant and has offered tireless services for Corona patients. In continuation of his academic pursuits, he has recently completed his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Hospital Administration. Very recently, he has been honored as a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians – Glassgow, UK.
